Sirius 800TM

Enterprise-scale multi-format router with fl exible architecture, 4K capabilities and IP-Edge support

An expandable family of routers featuring a fl exible architecture with frame options from 288 x 288 right up to 2304 x 2304. Unmatched I/O fl exibility covers SDI, AES, MADI, 4K quad link, 12G serial and IP signals. Built-in Advanced Hybrid Processing (AHP) allows each input and output to be processed and controlled completely independently. Unique to SAM, Input Embedding typically delivers 30 per cent more usable ports for any frame size.

Powerful yet intuitive, Sirius 800 offers simple control interfaces for secure operation. Also, it integrates with third-party control systems and SNMP-based protocols. Sirius features an elegant built-in Multiviewer offering streaming and baseband outputs, and Media Biometrics integration, reducing your operational and infrastructure costs.

Vega 100 SeriesTM

Small to medium sized router family offering rock solid reliability and ultra wide applicability

This growing family of small and medium sized, compact footprint and energy effi cient routers are tailor-made for modern OB trucks, Fly-away production units and smaller facilities. Discrete models offer 2RU - 96, 4RU- 192 and 7RU - 432 ports while sophisticated routing capabilities provide complete fl exibility. Ports are confi gurable as inputs or outputs and for coax or fi ber, and video or audio. The ability to mix all these signals and formats lets users meet today’s needs whilst also being ready for tomorrow’s changes.

An innovative system design means that each rack punches well above its weight. Sophisticated software and hardware control options mean that operation is intuitive, fl exible and secure.

Vega 10 SeriesTM

Entry level, fi xed size router family

The brand new Vega 10 series introduces the Vega 30 3RU router to the market. With its fi xed size, powerful processing and redundant PSU, the Vega 30 is ideal for budget conscious and small scale applications, for example small trucks and studios, head ends, bay monitoring and high end leisure/entertainment systems.

With the Vega 30, SAM is introducing a new entry-point fi xed size router with clean and quiet video and audio switching, line synchronisation, de-embedding, audio routing and embedding MADI inputs & outputs. It is ideal for simple video routing, audio embedding and hybrid audio and video routing.

Technical fl exibility and design excellence leads to security, cost effi ciency and confi dence across broadcast operations & applications.

Vega MV SeriesTM

Routing and multiviewer capability at a budget price

Consisting of Vega 16MV - 16x16 SDI routing, and Vega 32MV – 32x32 SDI routing in a compact 1RU chassis. Both Vega MV systems have two 4K multiviewer outputs and 4K capable inputs, making these routers a perfect choice for small 4K productions. Alternatively, 32x32 with up to 32 tiles on two 4K screens. Add to this fully fl exible multiviewer screen layouts and comprehensive alarming features, plus router control, names and tally protocol support. Simple web based confi guration and default layouts mean you can be up and running in minutes.

PyxisTM

Feature rich multi-format router in a compact design

Targeted at smaller multi-format routing needs, Pyxis is available in 1RU and 3RU frames with dual power redundancy for confi dence and security. With 3 Gbit/s capabilities and the ability to mix and match all common broadcast signal types, Pyxis provides a highly competitive small scale router. Pyxis offers the highest density conversion between analog, AES and MADI formats. It can also link control of extra frames to work with larger systems for optimum fl exibility and scalability.

Luna control panels provide fl exible, dedicated control in a range of applications, including router, modular and conversion control as well as certain aspects of Kahuna production switchers.

Luna panels are also used as a general hardware panel for enterprise control systems.

Luna panels provide positive selection and instant visible feedback, bringing complete certainty to critical switching operations. Panels can be directly connected to a router, or used in a larger system with external control systems and soft panels.
