These sub jec t s we r etreated with occlusal bi te spl ints , and muscle act ivi ty was studied by electromyog-raphy. Af te r one month of t r ea tment , most subjec ts showed re l ie f of c l in ica ls y m p to m s a n d i m p r o v e d E M G m u s c u l a r a c ti vi ty .
