Rough Draft: Guidelines

• Read your writing carefully and critically: RUBRIC looks for: focus, content, organization, style and grammar/mechanics.

• Double Space your paper and change margins to 1”(inch) –top/bottom, sides.

• No extra spaces between the paragraphs.

Rough Draft : Guidelines

• Font/Font Size: Times New Roman, size 12 font.• Minimum length requirements: five full pages.• EVERY LINE on page 5 must be used. Any less than

five full pages will result in the paper being returned and will be subject to 10% per day.

• If you decide to add more information, do not forget to include this in your Works Cited.

• Number your pages: see page 22. • Add your title to page 1: see page 22.

source. These must be cited in your paper and appear in Works Cited.

• Add a heading for page 1 containing your name, your English teachers name, the course name, and the date; they are double spaced and left justified.

• Add a title to page 1. On the first line at the top of the page, after your heading, type and center your title, double space if you use more than one line.
