The HAVER ROTO-PACKER series RL desig-nates a rotating valve-typebag filling machine (with3, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 spouts)according to the air typefilling system. The area ofapplication includes pow-der type, fine or coarsegrain, flow resitant prod-ucts or mixtures with fineand coarse components,granulates, crystals orgoods of similar particles.

The average operationaloutput using paper andplastic bags with interiorvalves is between 900bags/hr. with 3 fillingspouts, and 4000 bags/hr.with 12 filling spouts.

By combining the ROTO-PACKER with the HAVERRADIMAT automatic bagapplicators (bundle or reelsystem), fully automaticoperation is possible.

The cone valve may beused as an alternative tothe rotary feeder whenloads from product in theinitial silo are notexcessive.

The cone valve ispositioned in the ROTO-PACKER inlet. Itsactivation is donepneumatically and anuncontrolled opening isprevented by a mechani-cal lock.

The HAVER verticaldouble rotary feeder canbe used any place wherepowder type, free-flow-ing material must bevolumetrically fed withconsistency.

Impeller sectors, sealedon all sides, rotate abouta vertical axis. Thematerial flow is therebyforced and the materialcannot simply dropthrough. The sealingstrips are adjustable andreplaceable, if necessary.

Power transmissionoccurs via a flat bevelgear unit driven by anAC motor and drivebelts. An adjustabledrive unit may be usedas well.

The HAVER air type fill-ing system (photos 3 and4) offers the followingfeatures:

• pressure chamber withcone inlet valve assuresuniform product feed-ing without the compo-nents of the product toseparate.

• removable bottom plateof filling box for easycleaning and mainte-nance

• closed, dust-free fillingchannel with pinchvalve

• distribution of convey-ing air using multipleaeration pads, allowshomogeneousproduct/air mixture(this results in reducedair quantities, lowerpressures)
