Two Programs
Masters Degree International Studies/Peace and Conflict
Resolution50 Fellows per year worldwide
Professional Development Certificate Program
3 Month Study in Thailand25 Fellows twice a year worldwide
Eligibility for Master’s
Bachelor’s degree Minimum three years paid or unpaid full time
relevant work experience Proficiency in a second language of the
proposed university if other than English Demonstrated commitment to international understanding and peace
*not recommended immediately following undergraduate degree
3- Month Program
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with current full-time employment in a mid-to-upper level position
Commitment to international understanding and peace
What to Look For
An educator who works with youth from different religious and ethnic groups
A military professional who worked with peace keeping operations
A social worker who plans a career in conflict prevention
A healthcare professional who has provided medical care and training to the poor
A professional working to mediate local disputes over political or environmental issues
Prior Rotary Involvement
Rotarians and family of Rotarians are NOT eligible for this program
Rotaract and GSE members are eligible Former Ambassadorial Scholars are eligible
after a three year wait Peace Fellows are eligible for certificate
program after a three year wait A foreign national with ties to local Rotary
(but cannot study in the US or home country)
