This week’s question posed by our quizmaster follows:
Last week's question. What is the Interplanetary Corporate Conglomerate? Answer: "The Interplanetary Corporate Conglomerate (ICC) is a conglomerate of corporations from all over the world that build aerospace technologies. that is basically all of the corporations that have come together, pooled their resources, and created a vast infrastructure in our solar system … The ICC has over 100 colonies, bases, and industrial facilities/plants on the Moon, Main Asteroid Belt, Mars and several other moons and bodies in our solar system. There are also many free-floating space stations that have personnel manning them and are fully operational with space vessels docking with them on a regular basis." https://disclosure.fandom.com/wiki/Interplanetary_Corporate_Conglomerate Although kept under wraps, apparently we have been in contact with extra-terrestrials for a long time. In fact:
"Extraterrestrials who look just like us not only exist throughout the galaxy, but tens of thousands of them have infiltrated communities all over the planet as neighbors, co-workers, teachers, doctors, humanitarians, etc." https://www.exopolitics.org/tag/interplanetary-corporate-conglomerate/ This week’s question. Who said or wrote: "No potential cabinet minister ever moves more than twenty feet from the telephone in the twenty-four hours following the appointment of a new Prime Minister. If you haven't heard within twenty-four hours, you're not going to be in the Cabinet."?
Quiz Time:
The Club Admin Committee held its final fireside meeting for the Rotary year, at the Verdict Café. Excellent breakfast and a productive meeting. All enjoyed their meal! Look for the minutes on the club’s website. (Committee members were too busy to pay attention to the camera.)
RCTE - Club Outing to Ohau, Levin, Sunday 23rd June. This is a visit for a tasting followed by lunch at the home of Jean Hollis (Bruce W’s special friend). The winery is closed but everything necessary will be provided by them. The timing would be: 12.00 noon meet at Jeans home, 110a Muhunoa West Rd. for lunch etc. After lunch, Jean will give a short talk on her considerable experience in commercial tree crop production (Olives, pears, fejoas, figs, to name a few!). For those who would like to stay on, Jean will lead a short tour of her small lifestyle block explaining her species choices, pruning etc. (gumboots suggested.) Travel methods? Suggest those going gather prior to 11.00am at Memorial Park to car pool or accept a ride in Lew’s van. RSVP - essential for catering purposes, to .- withellbruce@gmail .com (not thru the club’s web page.)
