INTIsc Research modelMathematical analysis of connected data

What are the base data?

In the INTISC database we store participants, researchers, research projects, publications, subject words, organizations, groups with their relations.

What is it for?

We would like to build a „logic” can find connections between fields and researchers to enable communication, to promote further collaboration.

How it goes?

Summary of the process.

Page 11: ROSKO14 - Virtual space serving territory and interaction - INTISC 2014

INTIsc Research modelSummary of the process

If the number of entities and their attributes runs into high numbers

Say: 7000 the number of possible entity attribute logical connections raises to 25million

Statistical approaches aiming optimal solutions takes computational capacity practically impossible to realize

Our college Dr. Sandor Szabo mathematician specify the model and Zoltan Csaba Beres apply it, realize is as specific algorithm

The problem in statistical approach raises when derive distance matrix covariance matrix. Than the task is find the hidden dimensions of the matrix. The method do not depend on computing eigenvalues and eigenvectors. We search for sub-matrixes good enough for representing the original data. The simplification the distance matrix. The procedure based on search of „clique”-s.

The objective of the process is to find connections between database entities.

INTIsc steps foreword

Result of the project is an INTISC service, but:

Is it good for something? If yes:

Who are the stakeholders?

How will they know they are?

Social strategy of use: Presentation of the result

Strategy of sustainable service

Strategy of development
