Social Distancing

There’s a yucky virus visiting the world right now and I don’t want to meet it!

To stay safe and healthy, everyone is practicing social distancing.

Every morning I open up the windows and breathe in the fresh air.

Ahhhhhhhh!

After, I get to watch the fun stuff.

My parents watch the news and help me understand how the world is feeling and

where the virus is traveling.

I take walks, explore, and play fetch outside.

It’s important to stay far away from other people and dogs, so we only wave hi from

a distance!

I sing my favorite songs and play with the soapy bubbles until my hands are clean!

It’s fun!!!

I wash my hands A LOT!

I miss my friends, family, and teachers, but I get to see them on the computer and

talk to them on the phone!

Learning is fun this way!

My parents have to do their jobs at home, so they give me my own jobs to do too!

I take out the garbage…

And fold the laundry…

And clean the bathroom!

Sometimes I get a little carried away. Now, I know that toilet paper is not a toy.

Wow, all this social distancing makes me sleepy.

I sleep well knowing I am staying safe and healthy at home.
