CAREFREE WONDER Hardy Shrub 1991 AARS Winner

Dark pink, multi-color

One of the least demanding Roses to grow, it blooms prolifically and maintains its neat, compact habit even if you don't have time to prune it. Carefree Wonder™ gives a showstopping performance of spectacular bloom from spring until frost. Vivid, rich pink on the face of the petal combines with creamy white on the reverse petal to create a mass of bright color on 4-inch semi-double blooms. The gorgeous pink deepens with cooler weather, and the glossy green foliage and orange hips in fall and winter augment the glory of this easy-care Rose.

Disease tolerant and a vigorous grower, it is 3 to 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide, but not leggy. If you desire showy, large blooms, capti-vating color, and low maintenance, Carefree Wonder™ is a perfect choice! Zones 4-9.

CAREFREE SPIRIT Hardy Shrub

Scarlet

One of the standout Carefree™ series from the House of Meilland in France, this very vigorous, disease-resistant, heavy-blooming shrub Rose is a spectacular addition to the garden. It is bred for heavy repeat flowering, with a well-branched habit and healthy foliage untroubled by mildew, rust, and other foliar diseases. Giant clusters of 2- to 2 1/2-inch blooms dot this shrub all summer long, appearing in great flushes with a brief rest between each flowering cycle. Single-petaled, they have an almost translucent appearance, so bright is the red, and they surround a merry yellow eye.

Just 4 to 5 feet high and 3 to 4 feet wide, this shrub is a fine choice for the foundation, a hedge, mass planting, or border grouping. It fits nicely with perennials and shrubs -- no need to worry about crowding its foliage, it stays well-branched and densely clothed in glossy dark green foliage from spring 'til frost! Zones 5-9.

JACOB'S ROBE Climber, Large Flowered 2008 Intro

Multi-color yellow & peach blushing pinky red

Yes, we’re making a verbal pun on the beloved Joseph’s Coat, one of the most popular of all Climbers. Pun aside, for many years we’ve sought to capture the same great colors on a much improved plant. But the plant shows off the big difference – more natural vigor, lusher glossy deep green leaves, better disease resistance & more hardi-nesst.

Not only is it the most blackspot-resistant Rose we've ever grown, but it also stands up to Japanese beetles and other pests, needs only half a day of sunshine, blooms over an exceptionally long period, and offers foliage and fruit interest as well as lovely blossoms.

With great clusters of 3 1/2-inch blooms of fire-engine red, these flowers begin early in Rose season and continue for many weeks. The shrub then rests for a bit and repeats for the remainder of summer and well into fall! It's one of the longest bloom cycles in the Rose family and will fill your garden with bright color and sub-tle tea scent. And when the blooms finally end, the color continues with burgundy-violet fall foliage and orange-red hips.

Crown hardy to -20°F, this 3- by 3-foot shrub sneers at drought, humidity, and pests. Knock Out® never needs deadheading and is one of the very few Roses that earns the title "maintenance free." Zones 3-9.

WING-DING™ Hardy Shrub, Polyantha 2007 Intro

Brilliant red orange
