rosenthal tee s/s2014 the tempest
DESCRIPTION
Rosenthal Tee Spring Summer 2014 imagines an ethereal world deep beneath the ocean where The Tempest reigns. Borne of a dialogue between fragility and strength, she is a vision of passion and restraint. She is resplendence: her beaded gowns envelop the curves of her body and glimmer with the allure of sensuous femininity. She is adorned with stones and jewels, lush embellishments that decorate yet drape her with an otherworldly, almost crustacean armor. She is concealment: she thrives under the comforting veil of dark water as she dons floating translucencies of fabric. She is a siren imagined from seaform and the undulations of the tides. Mystical and magnetic, she is radiant in her contradictions.TRANSCRIPT
Spring Summer 2014
THE BRAND
Rosenthal Tee embodies the soul and spirit of adventure. Her travels immerse her in beauty and eccentricity, which are the hallmarks of her work.
She joins together the contours of landscapes, the threads of culture, and the patterns of architecture from vibrant Manila to bustling London. People and places she’s loved across Asia and continental Europe have inspired her designs and their
unconventional poetry.
Her collections are expositions of her stories as a woman, each one the culmination of her exploration of the world and the world of fashion.
Established in 2013 and based in Manila, her eponymous label Rosenthal Tee produces luxury ready-to-wear and bespoke eveningwear.
