ROSEBANK COLLEGE 2015 HSC Report Rosebank College congratulates the Class of 2015 for outstanding achievement in the HSC The College is proud to acknowledge the 171 students who achieved their personal best in the 2015 HSC.The students sat for 948 exams across 37 subjects. “Over the course of their educational journey at Rosebank College, we have been committed to encouraging these students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their life, including the HSC,” said Principal Mr Tom Galea. Special congratulations are extended to: Adam Hatzigiannis who was placed 5th in NSW for Business Studies and listed as a BOSTES Top Achiever. Annabelle McEwen who was recognised as a BOSTES All Rounder for achieving the highest band possible in five of her courses. Zara Page who was recognised as BOSTES Distinguished Achiever for achieving the highest band possible in five of her courses. The 20% of students who appear on the Distinguished Achievers List. This list acknowledges students who received the highest band possible in one or more of their courses. This includes Celia Sizzi and Alexandria Zappia who received four Band 6 or equivalent marks, Zoe Martin who received three Band 6 or equivalent marks, and Jayden Rivers, Siena Matrone, Jordan Meyers, Anastasi Tsiamis and Ellen Towers who received two Band 6 or equivalent marks. Annabelle McEwen, Amelia Anastassiou, Sophie Campbell, Jessica Jimenez, Siena Matrone, Liam McMahon, Sebastian Patane, Steve Saliba, Jayden Rivers, Zoe Di Rosario, William Wherry and Michael Cole who have received early offers to courses at university, based on their academic record, community contribution and leadership qualities. Year 11 students Madison McAuslan and Anne-Marie Kotoros who achieved a Band 6 in the Accelerated Hospitality Course. Year 10 student Carlia Salmeri who achieved a Band 6 in Italian Continuers. We note that: 100% of English Extension 2, Music, Society and Culture, Drama, Hospitality and Legal Studies students achieved in Bands 4, 5 or 6. Over 80% of English Advanced, English Extension 1, Economics, Modern History, Mathematics, Chemistry, Community and Family Studies and Visual Arts students achieved in Bands 4, 5 or 6. There have been a number of courses whose internal ranking has improved significantly. These include English Extension 2, Music, PDHPE, Chemistry, Mathematics, Ancient History, Modern History and Studies of Religion 1. There are many other stories of personal achievements in the class of 2015, such as students successfully completing their HSC despite challenging personal circumstances. Congratulations to all students and their teachers who have worked with diligence, professionalism and care to guide and nurture the 2015 cohort.

Rosebank College congratulates the Class of 2015 for outstanding achievement in the HSC

The College is proud to acknowledge the 171 students who achieved their personal best in the 2015 HSC. Congratulations to Annabelle McEwen, the highest academic achiever of the 2015 HSC class.

Siena Matrone was recognised for her academic achievements and contributions to the sporting and community life of the College.

This award is presented to students in recognition of overall academic achievement.
