Artist’sStatement2009In these times of fiscal and economic uncertainty it is good to reflect on those things that are of importanceandpermanenceinoneslife.Forme,that has been my faith. More specifically I have found it valuable to reflect on God as a ‘refuge andhelp’inuncertaintimes.

Psalm46,aroundwhichthisexhibitionisbased,seemstobewrittenforourtimes.Ihopethatinviewingthesepaintingsandthehundredorsointheexhibition,youwillgainasenseofthepeacethatIderivedfrompaintingthem.
