Why do we ROMP?

Join In Our Mission of Family Care Founded in 1980, Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a welcoming “home away from home” that helps families stay close to their hospitalized child.

Our Ronald McDonald House gives families a comforting place to take a break, have a hot meal, get some sleep, and so much more. We also provide a supportive ear, warm hugs, and relief from the stress and expense of caring for a sick child. Nearly 15,000 people find comfort at our House each year.

About the Event Our seventh annual ROMP will take place at the extraordinary Fairmont Grand Del Mar. We’ll have room for added playful entertainment and casual socializing over inspired finger foods and grown-up drinks. Fussy is out—fun is our aim!

You’ll be able to connect and laugh over a seated gourmet dinner, and have the chance to bid on some enviable auction opportunities. Dancing is a highlight of this year’s ROMP!
