On the 13th and 14th of March 2013 I went with the students of class VI A to the supermarket "Penny" to get to know different food products from Poland, Italy and Greece. We found that Romania imports fruit, vegetables, spices, olive oil from our partners’ countries. We filmed oranges from Greece and we saw apples and dried beans from Poland. As filming and photography were not allowed in the supermarket, I went the next day in a grocery store where we had more success. We filmed kiwi from Greece, cauliflower from Italy, tomatoes from Italy and strawberries from Greece.
I found that I used in my kitchen products made in these countries, e.g. Poland cocoa, Polish curry, Polish nutmeg and olive oil from Italy.

Krowki • 'Little cows' candies
Krowki was invented in the first half of the 20th century by Polish confectioner Feliks Pomorski. Candies were wrapped up in pieces of paper with a picture of a cow what had popularized a name 'little cows' and is being practiced up to this day on account of a tradition. Krowki (plural; Krowka singular), literally 'little cows', are Polish fudge, semi-soft milk toffee candies. It is one of the most common Polish confectioneries, sold worldwide.
As my students and I weren’t allowed to take pictures in well-known supermarkets, we tasted these delicious candies in our classroom.
Class 2D from School nr.62 enjoyed tasting these great Polish products and this can be easily seen in the pictures enclosed.
