Romanian folk costume

• Romanian folk costume is eternity and individuality of nations. In Romania there are 112 costumes in Banat which are in number 12, in Caras in the number of 5 and in Clisura 1 which is an interference between the Montanist and Clisura.

• Romanian folk costume consists of: • Ciupagea - which is made of woven cloth.

The sleeve is caught with hook CIBC made of macrame white. On the chest and sleeves are sewn with needle flowers of various colors

• shirt - is made of woven cloth. At the foot (below) is caught with hook CIBC made of cususte macrame white flowers of different colors with needle

• fustâcul - comes over his face. It is made of woven wool and he caught the butterflies

• opregul - comes back over his shirt. It is made of woven wool and he caught the butterflies

• belt - is made of woven wool. With it heats up the middle (colors red, blue, white, orange, green)

• coat - is made from sheepskins. The edges are sewn flowers of different colors with needle

• cloth - is made of silk and the edges have long tassels. When young girls cloth is replaced by smolt. Smolt is made of velvet and embroidered with beads

• stitele - wine made hands. Are made from wool and adorned with beads. The neck to wear "hand" made of colored beads strung on thread. It also wears necklace of silver coins and beads

• This costumes has over 103 years old .• The costumes are very difficult to keep because being sent from

generation to generation ,they are getting dirty and when you clean them you must be extremelly carefull.
