ROMANIA
• These images illustrate the beauty of our country. In some places there are specific old country houses with white porch and covered with reeds or shingles.
• The face of Decebal can be seen carved into the mountain. Romania has sensational mountain scenery.• In one of the pictures you can see the Iron Gate dam, one of the most important and spectacular Romanian
constructions. Romanian churches whether wooden or not, are famous throughout the world for their architecture and paintings.
• Our country has numerous glacial lakes, high altitude lakes which are found in nature reserves, one of them is Balea Lake in Fagaras Mountains.
• There is a cross on Mount Caraiman and it is an emblem of our country. We also have several castles visited annually by thousands of guests: Bran Castle (the legend of Dracula), Peles Castle etc.
• The Romanian seaside is one of the most wanted places. Romania is the only European country that has a delta - Danube Delta - natural reservation, famous throughout the world. In the delta there are many species of animals and birds protected and unique in the world.
• The capital of our country is Bucharest. The main buildings in Bucharest you can see in the image: Romanian Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel, Parliament House (the largest building in Europe and the second from the world, after the Pentagon, USA), Arch of Triumph, etc. Towards the end of our presentation there are images of Sibiu, one of the most picturesque Romanian and former European capital cities. We believe that our folklore is similar to that of Bulgaria.
