Mass intentions: The ministry of Mass Cards is an
important tradition of our Catholic faith. A Mass Card is a greeting card you give to someone to let them know they, or a loved one, will be remembered and prayed for during the Mass. Mass intentions can be offered on many occasions – for a friend or loved one, deceased or living; and even for an occasion or special intention. Each Mass may be dedicated to one person or intention. Masses are available through the year on a first request basis, come by the office for your mass intention. The suggested donation is $10 per Mass.

Youth Confirmation Parents of teens considering Confirmation: teens are requested to attend Youth Group Meetings on Wednesdays at 7:30pm in the Church.

Year of Mercy faith formation and programs are coming.
Have you encountered the Risen Lord? Join us as formation continues on Thursdays in April at 7pm in the hall. This is an entire parish event. The main talks will be in English, but the small groups will include language diverse discussion. (We are looking for dinner
sponsors for future dates.). We will set goals for spiritual growth, discipleship and service to the greater community. Feel free to invite a friend or family member, whether they are Catholic or not, or have been away from the Church for a while. In this Year of Mercy, let us open our hearts to peace, reconciliation and God's abundant blessings. Although workbooks are not required, they are a great resource and will be available for purchase during the Symbolon series formation. Please sign up in the office or email [email protected]. Please indicate if you are interested in the Wed (2pm) or Thurs session.
Bible Study continues! We will continue on Wednesdays after the 8am Mass. In Acts Chapter Ten, we found the Church moving beyond Judaism and going to the Gentiles. As Peter says, "God shows no partiality." In Chapter Ten we have Peter's last great discourse that appears as a model for Christian evangelists. Acts 10:34-
43. Introduction/ Proclamation of the Word/ Conclusion with reference to the Old Testament. This theme will continue as we go beyond Judea and Samaria "to the ends of the Earth." Acts 1:8.
Adult Faith Formation
Let’s experience Christ in new ways by becoming a part of the RCIA ministry, welcoming others into the Church. It is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and you don't need to be a theologian or expert on the Bible to help others know God. You just have to answer the call and be willing. Please contact us to find out how you can support this wonderful and rewarding ministry. Interested in joining the church or learning about the Catholic Faith? We welcome all those that were recently fully initiated into full communion with the Church through the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or finishing your sacraments in order to
come into full communion with the church, we welcome you to join us in conversation and fellowship. Join us through the Rites of Christian Initiation (RCIA).

Faith Formation News Faith Formation - There are no classes this weekend. Family Activity materials have been distributed and extra copies are available near the wood doors. Thanks to all the parents who participated in our open houses. Our last Open House will be for 5th graders and the “Edge” class on Monday, May 2nd.

Bring it Home - In the Gospel this week, Jesus proclaims that “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Bring the Gospels home this week and ask yourself; How do I recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd? Do I heed his call and follow in his ways?
Vacation Bible School – Please reserve the week of July 11th – 15th for VBS as we go on a “Cave Quest”. This summer we will enter into a Cave Quest: Following Jesus, the Light of the World.
Resurrection young adults (emerging adults, college age, etc.) are invited to join us in prayer, discussions and more as we listen to dynamic talks and share information with one another. Please plan to attend on Thursday nights at 7pm in the Hall, for the small group Symbolon sessions about our faith and living it out. This
will include formation groups for single men and women, as well as married couples (with or without children). Please join us for this exciting journey. If you plan to attend any of the events, please email Shaun.
Young Adult Ministry

Bake Sale takes place this weekend after all Masses. Don’t miss this opportunity to get delicious goodies.
Help Needed! The Laurel Main Street Festival is coming up May 7th, and there’s a lot of preliminary work to be done. We’ll give away bags with items about Resurrection in them, so we need folks to put the items together and stuff the bags. We need folks to put up the tent and man the booth for 2-hour shifts. Yard Sale Committee Meeting: The next meeting will on Tuesday April 19th during the ice cream social. Stop by for some ice cream and find out how you can help with the parish yard sale.
Eucharistic Adoration will take place on Monday, May 2nd following the morning Mass until 7pm. Spend an hour with the Lord and listen to Him as He speaks to you. Pray and meditate, be with Him for a little while. Please call the office to sign up.

Baptismal Preparation Parents and godparents who want to attend baptismal preparation classes, please call the office and register in advance. The parents and godparents must be registered in the parish for at least six months.
Baptism: Parents are expected to attend preparation classes and be registered, active members of the community for at least 6 months. To make necessary arrangements, please call 410-792-7982.
Matrimony: Couples planning to be married should contact the parish office at least 6 months before the planned date of their wedding. All engaged couples are expected to take a Marriage Preparation Course.

El Festival de Main Street en Laurel ya se acerca el 7 de mayo, y hay mucho trabajo preliminar por hacer antes de eso: Estaremos regalando bolsas con artículos sobre Resurrección y vamos a necesitar gente para poner los artículos en las bolsas. Vamos a estar mostrando material sobre Resurrección en nuestro puesto. Clases de Bautismo Los padres y padrinos que deseen asistir a clases de preparación bautismal, por favor deben llamar a la oficina y registrarse con anticipación. Los padres y los padrinos deben estar registrados en la parroquia por lo menos 6 meses.
Bautismo: El sacramento del Bautismo se celebra fuera de la Misa. Los padres necesitan estar registrados en la parroquia por lo menos 6 meses antes y asistir al curso de preparación para Bautismo, llame al 410-792-7982.
Matrimonio: Las parejas que planean casarse deben contactar la parroquia por lo menos 6 meses antes de la fecha de la boda. Se espera que todas las parejas comprometidas tomen un curso de preparación para matrimonio.
Para los Enfermos: Por favor llame a la oficina para notificarnos sí un miembro de su familia, un amigo o un feligrés está enfermo o hospitalizado. En caso de una emergencia y la oficina está cerrada, llame al 410-879-5632.
Sacramentos
Intención de misa: El Ministerio de Tarjetas de Misa es una importante tradición de nuestra fe católica. Una tarjeta de Misa es una tarjeta de felicitación que se le da a alguien para hacerle saber que ellos, o un ser querido, será recordado y se orará por ellos durante las intenciones de Misa.
