Pretty and slim

Minimax guide rails feature an extremely slim visible width of only 37 mm (instead of the standard 55 mm) and can be perfectly integrated within a delicate building design. Especially when they are embedded in plaster, front-mounted roller shutters adapt even more discreetly to the facade. A further advant-age is that the guide rails can be drawn-in and thus laterally overlapped, leading to ener-getic advantages.

The four different box shapes allow you to perfectly match WAREMA front-mounted roller shutters to the individual archi-tectural style of your building. ings allow virtually "invisible" integration into the

facade – for new buildings or refurbishment pro-

jects.

Top-mounted roller shutters for new buildings are available for brickwork or clinker brick facades and for wall thicknesses of 240 - 365 mm. The roller shutters are mounted onto the win-dow by the window manufacturer, so both components can be installed on site in one step. The sturdy polystyrene box is usually located directly underneath the ceiling without a lintel and meets the requirements of the current EnEV. The operat-ing elements can be connected without wall openings or chis-elling. Insect screen systems can be integrated as roller blind or swivel frame without any problems. NEW! No as a standard with the highly transparent WAREMA VisionAir gauze.

WAREMA top-mounted roller shutters are just as

practical and efficient for renovation of windows

and roller shutters as they are for new building

projects. The roller shutter box is mounted on the

window from above.

Large widths are achieved by the high rigidity of the box profiles and continuous fixing to the window. Another advantage: The compact size of the box makes installation possible even for small and medium-sized wall openings. The box is available in different models: Either with a white plastic cover or optionally with a powder coated aluminium cover panel in RAL colours.

efficiency for reusing existing old lintel boxes.

Renovation roller shutters provide the perfect opportunity for improving thermal insulation and air tightness of exist-ing lintel boxes when replacing windows. Mounted to the window beforehand, both components can be installed in the window opening and the existing lintel box in one step. Facade and internal plastering remain largely undamaged by the replacement work. At the same time the requirements according to the valid EnEV 2009 are met. The insulation shell of the box is made from polystyrene, aluminium rein-forcement profiles provide additional stability. Operating typesWAREMA offers a choice of numerous operating and control options. For roller shutters this ranges from classic tape operation and cord or crank to modern, convenient motor drives. WAREMA offers different control systems adapted to your individual requirements.

Motor operationThe most convenient operating type and suitable for all sizes. A motor with torque overload protection is installed as a standard to stop the unit when an obstacle is detected. With the optionally available radio motor with EWFS radio remote control, cable routing and install-ation of switches in the room are not required.

Tape/cord operationThe cost-efficient solution, ideally suited for small roller shutter sizes. Tape or cord winders are available in two colours and different versions.

Crank operationAn effective solution for medium-sized rooms, allowing perfect transmission of forces. The crank rod is available in sil-ver or white as well as with RAL coating, on request also as a detachable version.

WAREMA timerThe WAREMA timer controls the roller shutter position according to time and/or dawn/dusk and provides best possible operating convenience and more safety. These innovative WAREMA control sys-tems always provide perfect adjustment of your roller shutters to time of day and lighting situation – even when you are not at home.

EWFSThe standardised WAREMA radio system (EWFS) is an especially convenient solu-tion for operating your motorised roller shutters. It allows you to control our roller shutter motors with EWFS radio receivers using the hand-held radio transmitter.

Roller shutters with insect screenThe integrable WAREMA insect screen systems are available as roller blinds and for frequently used passages also as swivel frames. Annoying insects will have to stay outside. Insect screens can be integrated during manufacturing or retrofitted later on if required.

Insect screen roller blindInsect screen roller blinds integrated in the box offer a very flexible protection against insects. If necessary, it can be closed by means of a aluminium handle rail and practically stored away in the box when not being used. An integrated soft raise function ensures smooth rais-ing. Window sills with exterior window frame will still be accessible at any time.

Insect screen swivel frameThe ideal solution for frequently used passages, for example to the balcony or the patio, offer insect screen swivel frames integrated in the roller shutters. An integrated handle rail facilitates an easy and comfortable opening and a closing aid ensures automatic shutting of the door. The insect screen swivel frame is available as one- or two-wing model depending on window situation and can be powder-coated in accordance with the roller shutter.

WAREMA VisionAir gauzeThe new WAREMA VisionAir gauze ensures a perfect view out, a high trans-parency and an ideal air circulation in your living rooms. Insect screen roller blinds integrated in roller blinds and external venetian blinds, swivel and also fixed frames are delivered uniformly and as standard with the new highly transpar-ent gauze!

Aluminium roller shutter profilesfeature high resistance and working life. Different types are used depending on field of application and area of the roller shutter curtain. The main advantages are good winding properties, sturdiness and the smallest possible bale diameter.
