Roller Coasters are tons of fun!!! Every kid agrees that Roller Coasters are the best. They are exciting from beginning to end,

and are always exhilarating.

The History of the Roller Coaster

• Began with ice slides in Russia• In Russia during the 1700’s, wheels were added

and the roller coaster was born• They were built because the Russian empress at

the time, Catherine the Great, enjoyed them• In 1870 the first U.S roller coaster was built in

Pennsylvania• In 1888, Lina Bleecher introduced the first under

friction roller coaster

Roller Coasters in Action

Personally, I’m not big on Rollercoasters. In my lifetime I have only been on 2, Boomerang and Boulder dash at Lake Compounce. They were both very fun rides. They were exciting, fast, nauseating, and exhilarating.
