February 23, 2013

Dear North Barrington School Family and Friends,

We truly appreciate you sharing your evening with us and thank you for supporting “Roll the Dice” for NBS Casino Night.

The success of our children’s education relies upon the joint efforts of our school’s teachers, staff and parents.

The PTO works hard to support teachers, staff and students with countless volunteer hours in and outside of the classroom. The funds we raise at events like tonight go to purchase materials for our classrooms: everything from books for the leveled libraries to electronic pencil sharpeners, document cameras, playground equipment and games that reinforce understanding of new curriculum. We also provide experiences like author visits and assemblies. Lastly, we assist those less fortunate at our school with a variety of programs.

We are fortunate to be able to support our school and those in it with many essentials not covered by tax dollars. By “rolling” with us, you are reaffirming your commitment to our elementary school and our children’s education, both now and into the future. On behalf of the PTO Executive Board and the Adult Social Chairs, we thank you again and hope you enjoy a wonderful evening!
