A S the University of Oklahomaproceeds with its Semi-Centennial pro-gram, which will reach a climax in 1942when the institution's fiftieth anniversaryis celebrated, there is an important ser-vice that graduates of the School of Lawcan perform for the University .The last year has been devoted to care-

ful preparations for the Senni-Centennialprogram, by small groups and committees .The time has arrived when the assistanceof larger groups is essential. One of theprincipal aims of the program is to ex-plain to the public the need for gifts andbequests in building a greater Universityof Oklahoma, and law graduates, perhapssnore than any other one group of al-umni, come in contact with men and wo-men of wealth . As attorneys, they areoften called on to give personal advice inthe disposition of estates, in the makingof wills, in working out insurance pro-grams, and in selecting worthy projectsor institutions for benefactions .The establishment of a University of

Oklahoma Foundation, now near com-pletion, provides a specific agency for ac-cepting gifts to be used in the promotionof higher education in Oklahoma . Thedonor has complete freedom in specifyingexactly how the gift or bequest shall beadministered, if he so desires .
