ability. Roles are necessary for effectiveness in accomplishingGods purpose. Roles are needed for harmony in the family. Roles are needed for role modeling.

1Corinthians 7:32-35 But I want you to be free fromconcern. One is unmarried is concerned about the thingsof the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but the onewho is married is concerned about the things of theworld, how he may please his wife, and his interest aredivided. The woman who is unmarried and the virgin, isconcerned about the things of the Lord, that she may beholy both in body and spirit, but the one who ismarried is concerned about the things of the world,

how she may please her husband. This I say for yourown benefit; not to put a restraint upon you, but topromote what is appropriate and to secureundistracted devotion to the Lord.

Towards Parents

Honor your father and mother (which isthe first commandment with a promise,)so that it may be well with you, and

that you may live long on earth.Ephesians 6:2-3

1. Honor them let them know you love andappreciate them.

2. Listen to their advice and follow theircommands.

3. Be open to them about what ishappening in your life this helpsthem to trust you.

4. Spend time with them dont treatyour home like a hotel.

o Eat dinner with them as much as possibleo Join family affairs

5. Contribute to the family budget fromyour earnings. Honor means to

provide materially also.

6. Help out with household chores, cooking, repairs volunteer or ask them what you can do to help.

7. Provide for them when they are old and in need Gods social security system.

Towards Siblings

Therefore, however you want people totreat you, so treat them, for this is theLaw and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12
