ROLE: CHARACTER DESIGN ASSISTANT From September 2017

Passion Animation Studios is recruiting for an experienced Character Design Assistant on 101 Dalmatian Street, a new 2D animated 11’ comedy series for children (6+) and their families. The series combines action and comedy and we are looking for junior artists that can assist and work together with senior designers to create the required design pack. Artist to work in-house in our central London studio. Key responsibilities:

Working with Director, Art Director and Character Designer to deliver high quality designs

Deliver work that remains true to the style of the show and maintains a consistently high quality Required skills and experience:

Good understanding of human and canine anatomy.

Strong visual flair for stylisation

Excellent draftsmanship skills

Skilled at finding creative solutions and able to respond to a brief

Ability to work collaboratively as part of the design team, taking direction and acting notes and revisions accordingly

Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines

Good Photoshop skills

Strong portfolio
