•Surely, we need to develop a faith like Christ! Luke 23:46

•In this lesson we shall seek to understand the things in this Psalm which will help us to have a true faith in Christ, our ROCK of refuge!

Trust!

• In the Lord… Ps. 31:1– In this deep faith we develop we should never be

ashamed but seek the deliverance that comes from God’s righteousness. Rom. 1:16-17

– At the same time we need to seek God’s help trusting that he will help defend us from the pending storms. Ps. 31:2

– He is our rock! 1 Cor. 3:11

Dedication!• We should confess Him as our ROCK and

FORTRESS! Ps. 31:3

• We submit and dedicate our life to Him.– Like Paul… Phil. 1:21– Without selfishness… Luke 9:23

• Christ teaching is our ROCK. Mt. 7:24-27– They are our Fortress of protection when the

storms come!

God Is Able… Ps. 31:4

• To make things happen! Dan. 5:21; Eph. 3:20– To help us. Heb. 2:16– To work things together for good. Rom. 8:28

• Even if it is not His will that our cup of trouble pass from us, our desire should be, nevertheless THY will be done Father. Lk. 22:42– We know that God is with us every step of the

way! Ps. 23:4; Heb. 13:4-5; Dan. 3:16-18

Commit Your Spirit To God

• This should one of our main goals. Ps. 31:5; 1 Pet. 4:19– Jesus committed Himself totally to the Father

and so should we. Mt. 7:21 – Remember the Lord God of truth has

redeemed us. Eph. 1:7; Jn. 14:6

Our Times Are In His Hand

• If the Lord wills we shall live and do this or that… James 4:13-16

Therefore:

• Live for Jesus. 2 Cor. 5:15– Looking for life and eternal life thanks to His

mercies. Jn. 10:10; Jude 20-21

Have You Made Jesus Your Rock?• He’s waiting for you!

• Come to Jesus and be saved:– Hear & Believe his gospel. Rom. 10:17; 1:16– Repent of your sins. Acts 2:38– Confess your faith in Him. Acts 8:37– Be Baptized into Christ. Rom. 6:3; Acts 22:16
