Rocco & Lorenzo Pretorian Palace In the nineteenth century Pretorian Palace was completely restored to become a prison. All the windows and the battlements were dismantled. Nowadays there are old major statues. Under the leaning tower and battlements, famous throughout Figline, there is a glazed terracotta. It represents the Holy Virgin with the Child and two Saints A metal construction supports a bell on the top of the tower. The bell, now placed in the entrance hall, was once on top of the tower. The bell was used by the podest (lord of the town) to assembly people or to point out a danger. The bell is, in fact, a war booty We hope you enjoyed, Bye!
