Viele Produkte werden mittlerweile aus upcyceltem Material hergestellt. Aber alle unsere Materialen sind lebensmittelecht. Unser Ziel ist es so wenig ökologische Spuren zu hinterlassen. Wir vertrauen seit Jahren auf Zulieferfi rmen aus der nächsten Umgebung, aber auch um unser Material zu upcyceln brauchen wir nur kurze Wege. Hier stimmt die Energiebilanz, das ist uns und unseren Kunden wichtig. Die Ökologie im Bootsbau hat bei uns Einzug gehalten.Unsere Energie wird zum großen Teil aus Sonnenstrom gewonnen. Wir wollen unsere Ressourcen schützen, deshalb forschen und entwickeln wir permanent an neuen ökologischen Materialien und versuchen unsere Ferti-gungsverfahren zu optimieren. Unsere Produkte werden teilweise in Handarbeit gefertigt, d.h. wir legen Wert auf Individualität, handwerkliches Können und natürlich auf Flexibilität, die dem Kunden zu Gute kommt. Sonderanferti-gungen sind bei uns keine Seltenheit.

For over 20 years Robson has been makng paddles and boats in Bavaria, Germany. We are grateful to live and work in a beautiful area surrounded by forest, rivers and mountains.

Our production demands close atten-tion to detail, a high skill level and underlying knowledge of how the boats and paddles will be used. Our employees use all of their experience and ingenuity in making Robson boats and paddles assuring that Robson's craftmanship lives up to the trust that "Made in Germany" inspires. Robson is well know for pushing the limits and thinking outside box when it comes to design and technology. In the last few years we have brought you Armerlite super durable and light weight canoes that are recyclable, FlowTech paddles - beautiful, light weight and epoxy free :) . In 2013, we are offering our new Jamaica kayak in recycled PE, using scrap material. By the way all our hulls are 100% recyclable! Working responsibly is a goal that we are constantly moving towards whether socially or environmentally. We use solar panels to reduce our carbon footprint, employ natural light in our production and offi ce areas which provides a comfortable environment for our employees and uses less energy. Regular runs to the "Recycle Hof" and working effi ciently helps to reduce the amount of waste we produce.

Armerlite ist ein Thermocomposite Material. Glas- und Polypropylenfasern sind miteinander verwebt. Die Materiallagen werden defi niert in die Kanuform eingelegt und mit einer Vakuumhaube abgedeckt. Beim Erwärmen schmilzt das Polypropylen um die Glasfasern und unter Vakuum wird das Gewebe porenfrei verdichtet. Nach dem Abkühlen ist die steife, haltbare und leichte Kanuhülle fertig. Die Honeycomb Bo-denplatte bringt bisher unbekannte Steifi gkeit und extra Auftrieb. Die Seitenwände der Heliummodelle werden zusätzlich durch Honeycomb Rippen ausgesteift. Armerlite Vorteile:Steif und leicht mit der Haltbarkeit eines Plastikkanus. Verbesserte Geschwindigkeit und Beschleunigung und leichter zu tragen. Kann zu 100% recycled werden. Modelle:Der Homes ist ein Solo Wildwasser Canadier mit moderatem Rocker, sehr wendig und leicht zu beschleunigen, erlaubt Open Boatern aller Klassen von Anfang an Spaß zu haben und Ihre Grenzen ständig zu verschieben. Der Brooks 15 ist ideal für kleine und verblockte Flüsse. Ausreichend Rocker und kompakte Abmessunegen sorgen für Wendigkeit und ausgewogene Fahreigenschaften. Der Brooks 16 ist ein klassischer Expeditions- und Freizeit-Canadier, der viel Zuladung mit Geschwindigkeit vereint.Die Länge und der moderate Rocker laden ein zum Kanuwandern auf Flachwasser und Kleinfl üssen. Der Brooks 17 ist das Lasttier in unserer Flotte mit üppiger Zuladung und 4 Sitzplätzen um Kind und Kegel unterzubringen. Der leichte Rocker erlaubt müheloses Steuern, die Länge bringt Geschwindigkeit auf Flachwasser. Alles in allemein Kippstabiler und trockenlaufender Canadier. Süllrand:Holz oder Vinyl. Brooks 15,16, 17 und Homes sind mit serienmäßig mit Vinyl Süllrand lieferbar. Diese Ausführung ist besonders robust und pfl egeleicht, aber etwas schwerer. Brooks 15 und 16 sind auch mit leichtem Holz Süllrand und leichten Rattansitzen, alles aus Esche, lieferbar. Die Heliummodelle kommen immer mit Holz Süllrand.

Armerlite is a composite material of interwoven glass fi ber and polypropylene. The material is layered in the canoe mold, vacuum bagged and cooked in a large oven where the polypropylene melts around the fi bers. After cooling you have a stiff, durable and light weight canoe. A honeycomb base helps stiffen the hull and adds buoyancy. For the Helium models ribs are added to the sides for rigidity.

Armerlite Advantages: Stiff and lightweight with the durability of a plastic boat. Enhances speed and acceleration, portage is easier.

Trim: Wood or Vinyl. The Brooks 15 and 16, 17 and Homes are available in Vinyl trim which is very durable and low maintenance but adds a little weight. The Brooks 15 and 16 have the option of ash wood gunwales, yoke plus cane seats. The Heluim models are outfi tted standard with wood trim.

The Homes is a solo white water canoe with moderate rocker, it accelerates and manoeuvres quickly, it allows canoeists to push their abili-ties. A stable hull lets beginners get out and have fun. The Homes comes fully outfi tted.

The Brooks 15 is capable of negotiating smaller, rocky rivers that require less canoe. The length and the rocker optimize speed and tracking plus allowing for responsive turns.

The Brooks 16 is a classic expedition and camping canoe combining speed, carrying capacity and stability. The length and moderate rocker encourage tracking on fl at water but it can also be manoeuvred on smaller waterways.
