Mr. Rob Saur PG&E 3401 Crow Canyon Road San Ramon, CA 94583 Subject: Biweekly Asbestos (TEM) Monitoring Report for October 12th through October 23th Former Hunter’s Point Power Plant Site 1000 Evans Ave., San Francisco, CA 94124 ADMP RIN # NOA-0055 (Amendment#2)
Dear Mr. Saur:
In accordance with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD)-approved Asbestos Dust Mitigation Plan (ADMP) amendment dated 2012 May 11, attached is a tabulation of the air monitoring results for airborne asbestos analyzed by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). All air testing was performed in accordance with the approved ADMP. The attached figure shows the location of the Air Monitoring Stations (AMS).
Soil disturbance work was conducted from 12 October to 23 October 2015. During the reporting period, there were no TEM test reports for airborne asbestos that exceed 0.016 structures per cubic centimeter (s/cc), the trigger level established for this project. Site work is ongoing and estimated to be completed in January 2016.
The table below lists the activity and response action at the time of the excedance.
