James 30 5 Foot 8 Inches tall. Medium build. Wearing Jeans and Short sleeved shirt. Coventryaccent. Calm and confident.

Paul 36 5 Foot 8 Inches tall. Stocky build. Wearing Jeans and long sleeved shirt. Coventryaccent.Confident and sarcastic.

Kris 28 6 Foot 3 Inches tall. Medium build. Wearing tracksuit bottoms and Jacket. Coventryaccent. Speaks fast and easily excited.

Man One 6 Foot 4 Inches tall. Stocky. Wearing shorts and t-shirt. Broad Glaswegian accent.Angry and aggressive.

Man Two 5 Foot 9 Inches tall. Stocky. Wearing track suit bottoms and t-shirt. Manchesteraccent. Arrogant and cocky.

EXT DOLPHIN PUB DAYLong one storey public house. Empty car park with weeds growing on everything from the rotting

window frames to the broken drain pipes.

INT DOLPHIN PUB-BAR DAYSUN BLARES into the small empty bar room with pool table and juke box playing low. BAR MANstocking the frigde with bottled beer. Paul, James and Kris sitting around a table beside the

window. KRIS sitting oppisite Paul and James.

PAUL(to Kris)

So what brings you here then...are youin trouble? take it you've forgotten that

we're meant to be keeping a low profile?

JAMES(to Kris)

We haven't seen you in ages and you justturn up out of the blue looking like a bag of

nerves...

KRIS shaking un-controllably starts sobbing.

SOUND of a car screeching to a halt outside.

CUTS TOTwo men jump out of a car outside the pub.

Both men waving baseball bats and shouting abuse at KRIS

A GUN is visable under man one's waist line.

KRIS(panicking)

Shit they're here...

The brothers scramble across the room and take cover behind the bar.

THE BARMAN is trying to unlock the cellar door behind the bar.

THE TWO MEN enter the pub.

MAN ONE pulls out a gun and shoots the mirror behind the bar.

MAN ONECome from behind thatbar you little pricks.

KRIS shaking and dropping bullets as he tries to load a gun.

MAN TWOYou've 5 seconds till we come round there...

JAMES(to Kris)

What the hell's goin on?

KRIS still struggling to put a bullet in the gun.

PAUL(to Kris)

What you done this time you idiot?

JAMES grabs the gun of Kris and loads the gun instantly.

MAN ONEThat's it. times up..

MAN ONE lifts the bar flap.

JAMES springs up and shoots Man One in the head.

MAN TWO takes cover behind the pool table.

JAMES stands behind the bar and watches the pool table like a hawk.

SUBJECTIVE CAMERAJAMES watching MAN TWO reload his gun through the reflection of the patio window behind thepool table.

MAN TWO(shouts nervously)

Let me go and we can forget todayever happened...

JAMES(to man two)

Slide your gun over here...

MAN TWOJust let me go and i will make

sure your brother lives to see his next birthday.

JAMES

Just slide your gun to the bar or you arenot going to get out here alive...

CUTS TOPAUL(to Kris)

This isn't drug money is it?

KRIS(upset)

PAUL

KRISIt's the boss's wife...

PAUL(sighs)

You stupid...

GUN SHOTS INTERRUPT the conversation as JAMES and MAN TWO exchange gun fire.

Gun shots stop.

CUTS TOJAMES lowers his gun calmly walks from behind the bar to the pool table..

JAMES(OFF SCREEN)

Kris you have some explaining to do...

PAUL and KRIS stand to their feet.

JAMES(angry)

You idiot...we better get out of here.

PAUL and JAMES start to leave.

CUTS TOKRIS stands at the bar looking guilty as sin.

PAUL stops and turns to Kris.

PAULYou coming or what?...

CUTS TO ECUKRIS

(trembling)I never shagged the top man's wife...

i've killed her...and they aren't gonna stop until they have my head

on a platter.

PAUL and JAMES look at each other gob smacked.

SCREEN FADES TO MIDNIGHT BLUE.
