Introduction

Spring Meadows has set goals for the integration of technology in our daily instruction and for making progress towards the Texas shared plan for technological integration . In this session, we will review the Texas Long-Range Plan, data from our campus STaR chart and discussion about future professional development needs and adjustments to our campus goals.

What does this all mean?

• SME is comparable to other campuses state wide • Strengths are in areas of

communication/collaboration, content area connections and infrastructure as a whole

• Weakness: EDUCATOR PREPARATION and DEVELOPMENT

What do we do?

• Continue to build on our strengths

• Use communication and collaboration to increase technology skills and competency among teachers

• Ear mark some of the campus budget for additional professional development, especially for integration of technology in all content areas

FUTURE PLANS

Continue to use the Campus STaR Chart, as well as other surveys and assessment tools, to monitor progress and modify our long range plans as necessary to reflect changes while maintaining sight of our ultimate goal.
