Ró Collection 2015

Here we present to you a collection born from our desire for functional, aesthetically beautiful furniture and home goods. Our team of designers at Ró collaborated with exceptional makers here in Buffalo, to think up a collection

that feels fresh, yet has elements that nod to the great Danish modern designers of the mid-twentieth century. We took special care to make these pieces as functional as possible, making them disassemble for easy shipping and moving. The wood used is harvested from fallen white ash trees and has been finished with a traditional Danish soap finish. Our products are created with artist’s hands, which gives them a unique individual flare. It is important

to us that our materials used are sustainably friendly and environmentally safe.

The color palette seen in the textiles, and the pattern in our ceramic pieces engage an earthly balance of land and sky.

We stand true to our belief of Calm Living Through Functional Design, in that these pieces are infused with a sense of simplicity. We hope that by filling

your life with our ceramics, textiles and furniture, you are brought elements of a calmness and harmony.

Norman Cramer (b. 1985) is a furniture designer and maker based in Buffalo, NY. After several years working as a cabinet-maker, Norman pursued his passion for woodworking and design by attending SUNY Buffalo State for Furniture Design. While attending college he received numerous awards including the Wind-gate Fellowship. After graduating, he was accepted as the resident artist at SUNY Buffalo State where he designed and developed the 5° line of furniture for Ro. This series of furniture embodies the cel-ebration and embellishment of subtle-ties, bringing a fresh take on minimalist and Danish modern furniture to promote a calm and comfortable home.

Colleen Toledano (b. 1978) is a studio artist residing in Buffalo, NY and an Assistant Professor of Art at SUNY Buffalo State. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in ceramics from Ohio University. She was a resident artist recipient of the Evelyn Shapiro Foundation Fellowship in 2008 at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA. Her work has been exhibited in Mutter Museum in Phil-adelphia; The State Museum of Alaska, Ju-neau, AK; and the Millard Grand Project, St. Pancras Chambers, London. She has had numerous residencies and given lectures at places including The Tyler School of Art, PA; Concordia University in Montreal; and Chicago Institute of Art, IL.

Hayley Carrow (b. 1986) A fine arts graduate of Alfred University. Hayley is an active working artist and designer in Buffalo, NY where she has used her degree to continue with oil painting, mixed media, textile design and also interior styling and merchandising through Ró’s home shop.This series of linen and cotton goods in the Ró summer collection are inspired by her love of Scandinavian lifestyle, with bits of influence from Japanese design and of Welsh pattern, which stems from her heritage. The color palette presented comes from hues we are so often surrounded by and that we associate with during the warm summer days and nights in the months of July and August.

Terms & conditionsWe sell to established stores and interior designers as well as to our own client base. All sales are final.

Minimum opening order $900 / minimum reorder $500

Prices are subject to change. Opening orders must be paid via check or credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex). Net 30 terms may be established upon approval of credit references and only after three paid

credit or check transactions. We reserve the right to terminate credit terms for non-payment. We retain the right to cancel open orders on past due accounts.

Returns & CreditsWe do not accept returns except in the case of damages. Please inspect and report any damage within 14 days of delivery. In case of damages, we will take a return and credit your account or issue a refund.

ShippingOrders ship via UPS unless otherwise specified and agreed upon. Shipping charges are based on the

actual shipping charge plus a handling fee. Lead time is approximately 3-5 weeks unless otherwise noted by your representative.

Estimated ship dates will be sent to the buyer along with order confirmation before the order starts production.

BackordersAll backorders will ship as the items become available unless otherwise stated on the original purchase

order.

Handmade QualityRó products are made by hand, in whole or part. We embrace subtle variations in production especially

with wood variations and dye batches and consider them to be part of the beauty of the collection and not

considered errors. All measurements are approximate and we ask that you keep that in mind when inspecting your product.
