2 CALL SETUP TEST : BSS Team Responsibility

Case A: Call cannot be established Signal Level should be verified by checking VSWR Creation of LAC/CI should be verified at BSS & NSS ends

Case B: Call is established but NO AUDIO / VOICELESS calls Mainly Transmission problem

Case C: Call is established but voice quality is not good Mainly Radio Link problem

4 COVERAGE TEST : RNE Team Responsibility

RNE Team conducts Drive Test to check the DL Signal Level of all the sectors of the site

If Signal Level is not good ! Path Loss is occurring due to problem in Antenna,

Feeders, Lighting Arrestors, Dual Band Combiners & Band Pass Filters.

Jumpers are wrongly connected to the Feeders resulting in Cross-Sector or Cross-Feeder

7 CSSR / CDR TEST : RNE Team Responsibility

RNE Team conducts Drive Test to check the CSSR (Call Setup Success Rate) and CDR (Call Drop Rate)

Automatic Call Setup feature of the Drive Test tool is activated and multiple calls are made for a certain duration (normally 1 minute) in all the 3 sectors.

Then the log file is analyzed for computing the CSSR & CDR

CSSR should not be less than 95% CDR should not be more than 2%
