RIZE was Formed in 1997, debuting in 2000. Current members are: Jesse/V&G, Kenken/V&B,& N.K/Dr. RIZE

music style is a mix of alternative rock, hard rock, punk rock and even some reggae flavor, cultivated &

created via their real international music DNA. Their natural, overwhelming enthusiasm to music has been

inspiring lots of music fans not only Japan, but also Asia, USA, and other countries, especially their solid,

driven & incredible powerful sounds performed by this 3 pieces @ live compelling \"RIZER\" = RIZE fans calling

themselves without any doubt. \"ZERO\" from CD album \"Experience\" has been featured on Coca Cola TVCM in

Japan and Asian countries.

RIZE, all 3 members are born and raised with “real, professional” music environments, on the backgrounds of

all of their fathers were also forming the legendary 3 pieces band called “Pink Cloud” from 1979 – 1994,

making huge influences in Japanese rock scenes.

The front man of RIZE, Jesse McFaddin in English / Sorato Takenaka in Japanese, his father = CHAR is

musician’s musician type of genuine rock guitarist pioneer, having prominent music careers including

collaborations with various type of top ranked artists, such as; Steve Lukather, Stevie Salas, Richie Kotzen,

Paul Jackson, Jeff Beck, Micky Moody, Brian Setzer, Jeff Porcaro, David Paich, etc.

RIZE rhythm section, N.K on Dr. and Kenken on Bass whom are brothers having legendary female rock vocalist,

Mari Kaneko = famously known as “Japanese Janis Joplin” as mother + established rock drummer, Johnny as

father, so RIZE have been cultivating their own unique “Alternative” rock sounds & presence distinctively

different from other rock bands in Japanese rock scene from their start.

< Music Career >

In August of 2000, RIZE debuted with their hit single “Kaminari,” under Epic Records, which made a huge

impact to the Japanese Rock scene as well as launching their very successful careers. Since their

breakthrough, RIZE has toured not only in Japan but in America and South-East Asia, accelerating to establish

their presence in world music markets.

RIZE have performed alongside international artists such as OASIS, JAY-Z, NINE INCH NAILS and RUN DMC. One

of RIZE’s most notable accomplishments came in 2003, where they went on an All-American tour with THE

KOTTONMOUTH KINGS, performing at 38 shows.

In July of 2005, RIZE could successfully appear on the stage of “Live 8” as the opening act, a world-renowned
