• Building will be equipped with a complete facility Energy Management System (EMS).
• All building operating systems will be integrated into one easy to use system that will be accessible on the web.
• The lighting system will be state of the art with the ability to perform "Light Harvesting", a technique utilizing the natural light and dimming the artificial light as necessary.
• HVAC system will be fully integrated for ease of use and to ensure comfort and efficiency.
• Security card access with digital cameras will be fully integrated in one system for ease of use.
• ProVisions is on the forefront of energy monitoring. Federal buildings are mandated to install their own electrical and gas meters to ensure proper billing from the utility companies. ProVisions has been doing this for years, even before the federal building mandate was implemented.
• All electrical and mechanical documentation for the building will be stored electronically on the EMS, allowing for easy access.

History of Site
Located in Downtown Saginaw this three story structure has stood for news to generations of Saginaw residence. Former home to The Saginaw News this building helped serve the city of Saginaw for sixty years. This historic landmark for Saginaw residence has maintained its clean elegant modern facade for over half a century.
The former Saginaw News building shares its downtown community with St. Mary's Hospital, Citizens Bank, and City Hall. The building is located minutes away from a number of main attractions, such as the Dow Event Center, Castle Museum and Temple Theatre. Other surrounding neighbors to the site include AT&T, Mobile Medical Response, Legal Services of Eastern Michigan, and MSU Extension.
Today and tomorrow the integrity, tradition, and presence has been preserved while integrating new technology and green building features to create a vibrant future.
