A certificate program normally requires about 4 graduate courses

A master's degree generally requires 10 (sometimes more), and you may have a master's thesis and/or comprehensive examination requirement.

A graduate certificate in a field that is close to the one you want to work in could open doors to a good job. But it does not have nearly as much impact as a master's.

Clinical Experience RequirementsClinical Experience Requirements

Minimum 2,00 paid “hands on” patient care experience in the disciples of medicine, nursing or allied health

Volunteer experience will not fufill the patient care experience requirement
