Our popular series for preschoolers returns. This year, the Wooly Kinderconcerts introduce little ones to the magic of classical music through abridged versions of famous operas and ballets. Performed by members of the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, the selections are all based on familiar stories, and audience participation is a big part of the fun.

Cell Phones Please mute all cell phones and electronic devices while in the theatre.

Accessibility River Run Centre is fully accessible for patrons and performers with special needs. Wheelchair accessible locations are available in both theatres. Please call the box office for all special or accessible seating requests.

Infrared Headsets for the hearing impaired are available free of charge for both theatres at Coat Check prior to the performance.

Children/Infants Everyone must have a ticket to enter the theatre, including all children and infants. Please note that infants may not be permitted in the theatre for some performances. Call the Box Office for details.

Booster Seats A limited number are available free of charge at Coat Check prior to the performance.

Coat Check During the regular season, coat check services are available for a nominal charge.

Food and Beverages With the exception of water in non-glass containers, food and beverages are prohibited in the theatres during most performances.

Refunds Refund policies vary from show to show. For shows which offer refunds, tickets must be returned to the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the performance. Call for information about specific shows.

Cameras and Recording Devices Photography, videography and recording are strictly prohibited in the theatres.

Scents In consideration of those who have allergies, please refrain from using perfume or cologne.

Getting on stageOur popular spring mentorship program for youth, MusicWorks|StageWorks, offers budding performers a chance to learn the essentials of producing a show — from concept development to public performance. Offered through an open invitation each spring, the program is coordinated with the Guelph Youth Council and culminates in two public performances.riverrun.ca/youth-mentorship

Join us in welcoming River Run’s 2014/15 artists in residence and our residency program partners Ed Video Media Arts Centre, Eden Mills Writers’ Festival, Guelph Dance, Guelph Jazz Festival and Hillside Festival. Led by celebrated Toronto-based dance artist Andrea Nann, artistic director of Dreamwalker Dance Company, these artists will be working together to develop a collaborative and multi-disciplinary creative practice. They’re looking forward to sharing the results of their work throughout the season. Watch for upcoming details.
