Fishing and HuntingThe Egyptians would hunt duck and throw aheavy throwing stick. Some times the cat wassent to get the bird. Sometimes a team on aboat would catch a hippo and if they did theywould kill it. The Ancient Egyptians believe thatif they killed a hippo it would bring peace totheir village.

BuildingsThe Sphinx and all other buildings were near theNile because it was a place where the Egyptianscould live and it was the only way to travel.
