BORDEAUX, FRANCE

WINE HOSTS BIODan Panella, Co-Owner of Oak Farm VineyardsAs a third generation American farmer, agriculture has always been a passion for Dan. He got his first start in farming by riding a tractor in the family’s cherry and walnut orchards, so it was only a matter of time before he found himself farming grapes. Under the training of a highly regarded winemaker, Dan has been able to grow in the art of winemaking; the fusion of agriculture and art that has allowed him to be creative and allow the grapes to show their strengths.

Chad Joseph, Winemaker of Oak Farm Vineyards Chad Joseph is a fourth generation Central Valley Californian. He graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Botany, with an emphasis in Chemistry. During his studies, he became smitten with wine. Chad has since become a consulting winemaker for several prominent local wineries. These great experiences brought him to explore premium winemaking in Lodi’s emerging boutique wine scene with Oak Farm Vineyards. Oak Farm Vineyards shares Chad’s passion and vision for making premium handcrafted wines and for Lodi to continue to become known as a premier California wine growing region. This beautiful estate has deep roots and history and is becoming known as Lodi’s destination winery.
