Riva Laminati Plastici is a company that was established thanks to the determination and ability of Giuseppe Riva, who in 1971 decided to restructure his father Giovanni Riva’s business, which was specialized in moulding Bakelite, and create a new company named Riva Laminati Plastici, which would be in a position to offer its clients a complete service for the processing and sale of HPL plastic laminates and other plastic materials such as Methacrylate (Plexiglas), Polycarbonate, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and PVC.

Riva Laminati Plastici is able to offer technical advice for choosing the most suitable material, for developing new specific materials and for designing and developing new products.With a particular focus on R & D, the company continually implements new technologies in order to optimize the various custom-designed processes (cutting, drilling and milling) and to facilitate the final assembly of the parts.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Riva Laminati Plastici is specialized in the preparation and sale of panels for roofing, facades, railings, interior walls, partitions and noise barriers.A large area used as a warehouse allows the company to stock a wide range of materials and meet, in real time, any requests for panels to be cut, processed and packaged on pallets ready for delivery and for the final stage of assembly on site.

CONSTRUCTION

HPL plastic laminate is a material that is very durable and practically indestructible, with excellent mechanical and hygienic properties and a high aesthetic value. Since it is extremely ductile, it lends itself well to many applications in the sectors of interior design and contract design, medical and gym furniture, and swimming pools and spas. Riva Laminati Plastici carries out custom-designed processing and the finishing of table and desk tops, shelves, furniture doors and writing tablets for conference chairs.

INTERIOR & CONTRACT DESIGN

For many years Riva Laminati Plastici has been engaged in supplying parts for furnishing the interiors of trains and locomotives. HPL plastic laminate is a material that lends itself perfectly to the production of soffits, cladding panels and folding tables.The wide range of plastic materials and surface finishes available has also enabled application solutions to be developed for the production of conveyor and process belts for airports, material handling and post office sorting.

TRANSPORT

Riva Laminati Plastici is able to provide custom-designed parts and spare parts for machines and industrial plants, such as worktops, tables for machine tools, sliding surfaces, cladding panels, curtain walls for machinery, industrial guards and visual inspection windows made of Methacrylate (Plexiglas) and Polycarbonate, as well as plastic components for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT

Riva Laminati Plastici offers a wide range of plastic materials specifically developed for cutting fabrics and fine leathers.Our special “White Black White” layered sheets, also called Piviblock, are excellent for cutting fine leather, imitation leather, fabrics and reinforced fabrics. The unique feature of this material is that the surface perfectly accommodates the blade thereby allowing a clean and precise cut. The sheets can be used on both sides before requiring replacement.

During more than 40 years of business Riva Laminati Plastici has been able to forge strong business relationships with many of the most important Italian and European manufacturers of plastic materials, becoming the ideal partner for the production of special components for scientific and medical equipment, electronic devices and control instrumentation, such as parts for dialysis machines, spa equipment, trays and columns for ion chromatography.
