    Easy, accurate positioning.Oriented to the driver’s side forexcellent visibility, the unitincludes wheel guides mountedon both sides for accurate trailerpositioning. This helps ensurethat trailers consistently back inon center for safe engagementand a tight, efficient seal.Accurate positioning can alsoextend the life of the seal, shelter,bumpers and building wall.

    As the truck approaches theloading dock, it positionsbetween the wheel guides.

    The locking arm automaticallysizes the tire and rises to its fullheight against the tire.

    The rearmost tire contactsthe restraint’s trigger device...

    which then moves toward the dockusing the energy of the trailer.

    When the trailer is in position... the dock attendant insidepushes the “lock” button onthe control panel to activatethe locking assembly.

    Automatic tire sizing.Made of special high-strengthalloy steel, the barrier rod is spring-loaded to riseapproximately 20'' (51 cm) for a snug lock against any sizetire. The locking mechanismprovides simple and effectiveresistance of over 32,000 lbs.of pullout force.

  • Flexible controls.The operation of the system is controlled by state-of-the-art electronics, which store the vital statistics of eachGLOBAL WHEEL-LOK. Thecontrols simplify maintenanceand enable interconnectionwith other dock equipment. The GLOBAL WHEEL-LOKrestraint can be used with any type of dock leveler.
