Street Traffic

Stay aware of any traffic and make sure actors and producers are visible to any drivers.

If a car is approaching, move the actors and equipment promptly to avoid injury/technical

problems.

Fault with Camera Equipment Check everything is working correctly before

filming begins including ensuring the camera is fully charged.

Could trip over wiresRemove any unnecessary wires that are not

being used and make sure any remaining wires are safely secure.

Tripping up/down the stairs Travel carefully up and down the stairs without

Weather could effect filming. Rain/Snow could damage camera equipment.

If possible, move to a sheltered location or change filming to another day.

Filming could become a hazard to pedestrians. If camera equipment is in the way, pedestrians

may trip over, walk in the road.

Make sure actors/producers are visible and are not obstructing paths.

Plug Sockets that are too full could cause the electric to cut out or could be a potential fire

hazard.

Make sure plug sockets are safe by ensuring not too many plugs are inserted into one socket.

As filming is taking place a night, it may become difficult to see where you’re going,

where equipment/props or other people are.

Make sure actors/producers are aware of their surroundings and that the area is well lit in

between takes to avoid any equipment being damaged or tripping over and causing injury.
