The raglan is a competitively priced tilt-in-space adaptable recliner. The mechanism used in this chair offers the option of vertical lift, low lift and high lift which is the standard factory setting. Any of the options can be specified at time of order, alterations to the lift can be also made at a later date with only basic adjustments to the mechanism required.

electric rise and recline mechanisms:

•2 motor tilt-in-space 2 wayHolds the user in a fixed position when in recline with the angle of the hip and the back remaining constant. A second motor allows the back angle to open up further once the chair has been reclined. •2 motor 4th positionThe back and footboard operate independently. When thefootboard reaches its maximum height and without any changes to the back angle, the chair will go into tilt-in-space. When in recline it also raises the legs higher than the level of the heart. This is the Trendelenburg position. When in recline the footboard has a 6” longer throw for the taller user.

•3 motor bariatric rangeAll our 3 motor chairs offer independent operation of the back and footboard with the benefit of being able to achieve optimum comfort in a seated or reclined position. In all our 3 motor chairs each motor is used for a separate function. 1 motor is for the back, 1 motor for the rise and 1 motor for the footboard.

manual recliners: •3 wayTo recline the push/pull manual recliner the user, while seated in the chair, should push forward on both arms and the footboard will rise to a horizontal “TV” position and by leaning on the back the chair will recline. With the user taking the weight off the back will rise and by pushing on the footboard the chair will return to a seated position.

• tilt-in-spaceThe user while seated inthe chair, should push forward on both arms. The tilt-in-spaceholds the user in a fixed position when in recline with theangle of the hip and the back remaining constant.
