GAIO TRIO André Pereira - violin, Joseph Griffin - viola, Pedro Silva - cello The Gaio Trio brings together three young musicians from the Royal Academy of Music. André Pereira has appeared with the Orquestra Gulbenkian, Joseph Griffin recently joined the Ljubljana International Orchestra for its European Tour and Pedro Silva has worked with such conductors as Sir Mark Elder and Marin Alsop. Programme: Mozart: Divertimento for String Trio in E flat major, K.563; Beethoven: String Trio in C minor, Op.9, No.3

JOSEPH HOUSTON - PIANO We welcome back Joseph Houston, described in the Financial Times as a musician of 'versatility and poise'. Performances in 2015 include at the Purcell Room, London, in Dublin, Ireland, and in Ghent, Belgium and Tirana, Albania. In 2013 he was a selected artist for Making Music's Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists. Programme: Debussy: Preludes (selection); Colin Matthews: 2 studies from 'Eleven Studies in Velocity; Bartok: 'The Night's Music' & 'The Chase' from 'Out of Doors'; Chopin: Barcarolle Op.60; 'Liszt: 'Les Cloches de Geneve'; Beethoven: Sonata No. 2 in A major Op. 2 No. 2; Chopin: Ballade No. 4 Op.52

TRIO MIRAGE Julia Pusker - violin, Matthew Scott - clarinet, Alexandra Vaduva - piano This concert is kindly supported by Making Music's Philip and Dorothy Green Award for Young Concert Artists. Award winner Matthew Scott makes a welcome return to Ripley with Trio Mirage which has been given a Royal Academy of Music Chamber Music Fellowship 2015-16. Programme: Menotti: Trio for violin, clarinet and piano; Shostakovitch: Five Pieces; Bartok: Contrasts; Stravinsky: Suite from 'L'Histoire du soldat'; Ives: Largo; Glick: 'The Klezmer's Wedding'

The Annual General Meeting will be held immediately after this recital.
