ring-around-a-rosy rag
DESCRIPTION
This is an old Arlo Guthrie song that's fun to play or hear. There's an old copy for guitar floating around the internet at arlo.net but it's hard to read so I entered it into LilyPond to make it clearer. Then I felt compelled tom come up with some sort of intro for the song since it is a rag. The intro is for a uke. If you play guitar, use the arlo.net version.TRANSCRIPT

Yes, we all should do the Ring-Around-A-Rosy Rag.
One mass Ring-Around-A-Rosy in the middle of the night?
Would you like to put Philadelphia uptight,
So we all can do the Ring-Around-A-Rosy Rag.
To some Australian mountain range,
We ought to send Officer Joe Strange
