Hampsh re n two res dent al bu ld ngs, wh ch served as classrooms,dorm tor es, laborato es and d n ng all L brary and study fac l t eswere shared w th the town of R ndge. The enrollment for the 196 f llsemester was 6. acu ty and adm n strat on numbered 7

The same year the college purchased a 216 acre s te overlook ng

Pearly Lake to the South and t onadnock to the North. The ma ncampus was moved to that s te and the or g nal property was convertedto dorm tor es. There were or g nally four bu ld ngs on the campus, allwooden structures In the past three ye rs, the college has acqu red anadd t onal 255 cres of land and has erected on campus four dorm tor es,a student un on, a cafeter a and a eld house Ground was broken onSeptember 9 1967 for $1 250 000 L brary Resource Center. L braryconstruct on w ll be a ded by the rst ederal grant and loan fundsauthor zed to the college for educat onal fac l t es The college wasnot ed n ebruary 196 that an add t onal loan author zat on of$1, 00,000 had been reserved by the O ce of Hous ng and rban evelopment for construct on of two add t onal dorm tor es
