• The music video for Rihanna – Disturbia seems to be trying to capture the meaning of the song by picturing a dark and disturbing take on people's behaviour, the mise-en-scene really enforces this image of darkness, in the costumes the setting and the behaviour. There are some very strong shots in the video that make Rihanna come across as being very strong woman. For instance when she is trapped in a cage and when she is sitting on a chair with her legs and arms chained she still acts strong. The portrayal of the video really fits the song extremely well it has a sort of urban creepiness about it. It almost has a Thriller style theme to the video, with how it all has a very dark setting and the outfits are very similar to the zombie costumes in Thriller, along with Rihanna’s zombie dancing in the video.
