WE ARE THE REGIONAL CENTER FOR SELDÉN MASTS IN THE MIDWEST
MIDWEST DEALER FOR SPARCRAFT-U.S.
HYDRAULIC SERVICE
We are factory-trained and authorized to repair and service Navtec hydraulics. These hydraulic systems work at high pressures and a damaged or incorrectly installed seal can
render the system useless. We have the specialist tools and information necessary to replace seals properly.
BACKSTAY ADJUSTERS
Backstay adjusters feature a built-in pump. If your hydraulic backstay adjuster is not holding or reaching the desired pressure, or there is a puddle of oil on the deck underneath it, bring it
to us for a complete rebuild with new seals. A repair kit may be necessary if the piston rod has been scratched, or if the clevis jaw is seized to the top end of the rod.
CYLINDERS
Cylinders are operated with a remotely mounted pump and valve. If the cylinder is leaking oil or not holding pressure, new seals are required. A repair kit is necessary if the piston rod has nicks and/or scratches that cannot be polished out. Cylinders are normally charged with air –
do not try to disassemble one yourself.
BOOM VANGS Is your hydraulic boom vang failing to support the boom? The lower end of the vang is
charged with Nitrogen gas and over time it can leak. A new set of seals may also be needed. We are able to recharge hydraulic boom vangs as well as replace the seals.
(Warning: Vangs are charged with gas to high pressures. Please do not try to disassemble one yourself)
PUMPS & VALVES
Serviced and repaired. Hydraulic system flush service also available.
PRICES VARY DEPENDING ON SIZE AND TYPE. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
