RIFT Fire Resistant / Anti-Static Breathable FabricsRIFT breathable fabrics transport perspiration vapour away from the body out through the garment keeping the wearer cool. Bodies lose heat 23 times faster when they are wet. When at rest, bodies can lose 1/16 litre of perspiration per hour. Heavy or strenuous activities can increase release of perspiration up to 1 litre or more per hour.

Rift Safety Gear is certified to manufacture safety garment by world renowned fabric manufacturer Tencate who produce the very best fabrics like TenCate Tecasafe® Plus with Coolderm™ Technology. This material is engineered to provide unbeatable electric arc and flash fire protection that lasts twice as long as chemically treated cotton fabrics. RIFT Flame Resistant / Anti-Static / Arc Flash Resistance Fabrics

FRAS Waterproof fabrics prevent liquids entering inside the garment making it impervious to water, snow, oils and other workplace liquids.

The RIFT advanced composite membrane is a thin, lightweight, strong, durable fabric featuring two different polymers.

One membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch – smaller than a water droplet preventing penetration of rain, snow, and workplace oils.

However, the pores are larger than a water vapour molecule allowing perspiration to move through the RIFT fabric.

The second membrane facilitates transporting the water vapour outside the RIFT fabric and prevents other contaminants penetrating the fabric.RIFTs FRAS waterproof garment's seams are sealed using the highest quality waterproof taping.

The Rift Safety apparel range comprises fire-resistant and anti-static garments using cutting-edge technology to deliver superior workplace performance compared to other safety gear labels available in Australia.

RIFT's fire-resistant and anti-static, waterproof garments are light-weight and manufactured using the best available waterproof and breathable 3 layer materials available.

A heavy duty non-breakable thread is used in the manufacturing process on all stress points of RIFT garments. All waterproof RIFT garment seams are taped to ensure no seam leakage

RIFT's safety garments comply with stringent Australian safety standards and are made by a company with over 20 years' experience in manufacturing first-class safety gear for global markets.

QGC is a leading natural gas explorer and producer focused on establishing the world's first project to convert gas from coal seams into liquefied natural gas - Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG). They are employing thousands of staff and contractors and providing a A$32 billion boost to Queensland's economy over 10 years as we develop natural gas, a cleaner hydrocarbon, for domestic and international customers.Q-GC is wholly owned by BG Group, a leading player in the global energy market. The extensive natural gas experience of QGC and the LNG production expertise of BG Group are being applied to QCLNG, one of Australia's largest capital infrastructure projects. QCLNG involves the expansion of QGC's gas production in the Surat Basin of southern Queensland, construction of a 540km underground pipeline to Gladstone and the building of a plant to liquefy the gas on Curtis Island, near Gladstone. Natural gas has been extracted from coal seams in Queensland since the early 1990s. More than 80% of the state's natural gas supply now comes from this source. QGC has explored for this gas since 1999 and produced since 2006. They supply about 20% of Queensland's natural gas demand.
