However this year the future of the festival is looking a little shakywith the current ‘head honcho of organisation’ standing down and areplacement yet to be found. On the 21st March in our Bridgwater storeand the 28th March in our Bristol Store wewill be celebrating all things ‘dark’ andholding a special Dark Custom Ride In

Show. On the day we will be showing offthe Bridgwater Bomber and Bristol’s Blackto the Future plus bring your own DarkCustom and enter our bike show. Therewill be two winners chosen on the day withvisitors voting for their favourite, one aHarley® and one non Harley®. Each dealerHarley® winner will be entered into anational competition with the winner of thenational heat receiving £2500 Parts andAccessories vouchers plus their bike willbe displayed at the NEC Show in theAutumn.

DUCATI DEMO DAYSThe Ducati Roadshow will again be calling at Riders this spring. The demonstrator fleetshowcases the 2015 range. Accompanied test rides will last up to one and half hours takingin a variety of roads and conditions to fully assess the bikes capabilities. Pillion riders mayalso join in the test rides for the chance to appraise the ergonomics of these machines.

The road show will be calling at Bristol on 21st March, Bridgwater on 23rd May andCardiff (Abergavenny) on 13th & 14th June 2015.

Another exclusive riders track day has been arranged forFriday 29th May at Llandow Circuit which is situated just20 miles to the west of Cardiff close to Llantwit Major. Wehave exclusive use of the track on the day so a maximumof 16 bikes will be on the track at any one time. We canpromise an action packed day between 9am and 4pm.

On Saturday 11th April our Bridgwater and Bristol stores will be hostinga discover more Harley® Demo Day. The special test ride experience onthis day will be an extended ride (up to 3 hours) with your pillion which willinclude a lunch stop to share your experiences. BMW Motorrad’s hugely popular Enduro helmet has beensuperseded by the all-new GS helmet. The GS helmet islighter, stronger and more comfortable - offering riders theperfect adventure-ready helmet for on- and off-road riding.

The GS helmet shell is constructed from 100% carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP). This provides excellentimpact absorption and keeps weight down toapproximately 1,450g.

The shock-absorbing inner shell is comprised of fivesections of varying density for optimal safety. Thecharacteristic BMW integrated neck bands complete thesafety concept, keeping the helmet firmly in place and

optimally positioned on the head if the worst should cometo the worst – a feature offered by very few helmetsanywhere in the world.

For maximum air flow when riding off-road, the chin-ventflap is removable. The integrated screen then providesprotection against foreign objects and acts as a dust filter.The aerodynamically optimised, wind tunnel-honed peakis removable, too, while the head and chin pads areremovable and washable.

The Shoei NXR has everything you need from a sports helmet;safety, aerodynamics, clear vision, ventilation and performance.The NXR's compact design boasts a newly designed shell which isphysically smaller and an all new baseline. 4 intakes in the foreheadand 6 outlets has produced an effective ventilation system whilstwind noise has been reduced by utilising larger cheek and earpads. Martin Jessopp will return to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship thisseason and is determined to battle back into the top ten for theRidersMotorcycles.com BMW team.

Jessopp started the 2014 season with solid results, including a pairof twelfth places from the opening two rounds. However a crash atthe Isle of Man TT hampered his progress, leaving him nursing ashoulder injury that sidelined the Yeovil-based rider from theSnetterton and Knockhill events and fighting back to fitness.

The RidersMotorcycles.com BMW rider fought back during theseason to secure his best qualifying position of the year at Assen witha ninth place, scoring points in the second race at the Dutch circuit.

Jessopp said: “I can’t wait to get started – this is our third year with theBMW and everyone knows it’s a proven package in the championship.Last year we were building up at the start of the season and then I gotinjured at the TT, which meant I missed some rounds and wasrecovering.

“I think that once we get testing underway we can build on thedevelopment we have done over the past two seasons to come backstronger. We have some improvements lined up to keep us movingforward so we can push further up the field. We have done it beforeand there is no reason why we can’t do it again. It won’t be easy butwe will be pushing hard to make it happen.”
