Personal Background: Mr. Beckey earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He also holds the Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. Mr. Beckey graduated from Western Michigan University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Mr. Beckey is a member of the following professional associations: National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and the American Society of (CLU®) and (ChFC®). Community Service: Mr. Beckey was a secondary school teacher for five years upon graduation from Western Michigan University up until the summer of 1981 when he entered the financial services profession. During his college days, Mr. Beckey served for two years in Michigan as an assistant wrestling and baseball coach at the high school level. Mr. Beckey followed that with two years in Iowa as a head wrestling coach and head baseball coach. Upon arriving in Colorado in 1978 he spent 3 more years coaching wrestling and football.
