TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
In order to receive consideration for this travel scholarship, the applicant must be an active member of our local chapter (attends one board meeting per year), and the purpose of the trip must include participation in one or more of the following: oncology education, cancer prevention, cancer detection, cancer care, survivorship and/or end-of-life care. A multicultural component is also highly desirable. An applicant must be willing to submit an article for the chapter newsletter and/or be willing to do a 10 to 15 minute presentation at an educational meeting. The maximum amount a recipient may receive per year is up to five hundred dollars ($500.00).
